Teen Choice Awards

It doesn't get any hotter then this, Skwids. Last week marked the 2007 version of what is always one of the biggest and brightest nights of the year... where those oh so coveted "Surfboard Award" trophies are handed out to those select few who are lucky enough to be the recipient of a Teen Choice Award. It was a star-studded gala event to be sure as a seemingly endless list of Hollywood's hottest young stars turned out to adorn the illustrious red carpet!

To no ones surprise, (an estimated 17 million premiere viewers can't be wrong), the just released Disney super flick, "High School Musical 2" walked away with the top honor for Best TV Movie. After having been graced with the title, "Hottie" earlier in the evening, HSM Star Zac Efron stepped up to the podium to accept the award and over the deafening screams from the packed audience said, "High School Musical started two years ago, and the only reason we're up here today is because of you guys!"

The 2007 Teen Choice Awards were hosted by Hillary Duff and Nick Cannon and featured performances by Kelly Clarkson, Shop Boyz, and Avril Lavigne. Probably the most celebrated highlight of the night was Fergie bringing the house down with a red hot rendition of her smash hit single, "Big Girls Don't Cry" after receiving the award for Female Artist of the Year.
