Rock and Roll Game On

Hey all you K-Beaters... great news from the red-hot world of musical video games. Seems the smash-hit king of the rock and roll game world, "Guitar Hero" is going to have some serious competition in the not too distant future.

"Rock Band"... the product of a partnership between the MTV music television network and the Electronic Arts gaming company was all the buzz at the video game industry's E3 Expo this last month. Crowds lined up to get their collective rock on by not only playing a virtual guitar, but also singing, drumming, and thumping along together to round out the model of a complete "Rock Band".

"Rock Band" and "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock" (the latest installment in Activision's hugely successful "Guitar Hero" series) are both slated to be released just in time for the holiday season and you can be sure that this is only round one in their competition to make the coolest and hottest musical video game on market.
